Has Dr Mahathir forgotten what he said about Lim Kit Siang before the 13th general election? Probably most of us still remember how he described the DAP stalwart as 'No.1 Racist'.

However, both have joined hands to oust Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.

The former premier had also labelled Anwar Ibrahim as 'The biggest liar' but the later is supporting him to remove Najib through the Citizens' Declaration. How's that? Sounds and looks weird but that is what is taking place in the 'bubur kacang' politics.

Read what RPK (Raja Petra Kamarudin) has written in his latest blog post. Interesting to note how the one time political enemies are now 'strange buddies' for the sake of removing Najib, the guy whom they despise much over the unproven 'scandals'.
Well, that was what Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said on the eve of the last general election in May 2013 — that Lim Kit Siang is the number one racist in Malaysia, that DAP is a racist party, and that Anwar Ibrahim is the biggest liar in the whole wide world.
Actually, that is the same thing that Lim Kit Siang and DAP says — that Dr Mahathir is the number one racist in Malaysia and that Umno is a racist party. In fact, Umno and DAP both blame each other for starting the 13th May 1969 race riots that saw an unknown number of deaths (officially hundreds but unofficially thousands died).
Anyway, that is now all in the past. Since Friday, 4th March 2016, Kit Siang and Dr Mahathir no longer tie for the coveted title of ‘number one racist in Malaysia’ and DAP Is no longer a racist party. Only Umno is still a racist party. And Anwar Ibrahim is no longer the biggest liar in the whole wide world. Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak is.
Dr Mahathir’s earlier view of May 2013 was before Najib appointed Khairy Jamaluddin to the Cabinet as a Minister and before Mukhriz Mahathir contested the Umno Vice Presidency in October that same year and lost to Hishammuddin Hussein, Mohd Shafie Apdal and Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (because Najib did not help Mukhriz win the contest like Dr Mahathir expected him to).
Since 21st October 2013 — when Mukhriz failed in his first step (of three steps) to becoming the next Prime Minister of Malaysia — and especially since 4th March 2016 — when the Save Malaysia campaign was launched and the Citizens’ Declaration was signed — the views held in May 2013 now no longer apply.
However, there is something most puzzling about the events of 4th March 2016 — and a very important something at that. While everyone who attended that event may mutually agree that Najib should be ousted, they have not yet told us who is the mutually agreed successor to Najib.
Their 'Save Malaysia' campaign - criticised by many and supported by not few - has set a target to gather a million signatures from Malaysians.

I am not sure if it will work but as at now, we should focus on 'moving forward'. There is nothing clean about politics, the question I once asked former South Korean President Kim Young-sam in Seoul.

His answer then was: "You answer it yourself!"
