"My spirit will not be broken, the blood (flowing) in me is no ordinary blood. Sometimes, I may be seen as diplomatic, but the warrior spirit is there in me... Do not underestimate me, I will continue to fight, and I believe Sarawak BN is with me" - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Wow! Is Mr PM gaining more strength amid continuous criticism on his 1MDB and other issues?

With his two-day visit in Kuching from yesterday, Sarawak appears to be the latest state (after Sabah and Perlis) confirmed by Najib which could enable him to sleep soundly, following the solid support shown by Sarawak for Barisan Nasional (BN).
"Just now, the Sarawak Chief Minister (Tan Sri Adenan Satem) said to me, 'you are not alone,' and I responded with, I'm glad that I'm not alone.
"Tonight, my wife and I can sleep soundly, we sleep on the same pillow, have the same dream. we feel relieved as it is clear that Sarawak BN so sincerely supports me. I can read people's hearts," he said.
According to Najib, he was the prime minister who most frequently visited Sarawak, and he never came empty-handed, whereby in the five years of his administration he had approved on the spot, development allocations totalling over RM1 billion for various projects in Sarawak.

Speaking at the leader-meet-people session, 'sarawakfornajib' at Stadium Perpaduan here today, Najib believed that under Adenan's leadership, BN would continue to receive a big mandate in Sarawak, a curtain-raiser to BN's victory in the next general election.

Praising Adenan's steering of Sarawak, he said: "He (Adenan) had asked for only one term (after the coming state election), five more years of administration, not 22 years."

Najib said his predecessors also went through various problems during the latter's administration, but due to their loyal support for the previous leaders, were able to remain in power, including for 22 years.
"This is the era of me as PM (prime minister). Should I step down just because someone demands it? I was chosen by who? The people, and not just the Malayan people (Peninsular Malaysians). The people of Sarawak also chose me as 'Apai Besar' (prime minister). I want to ask Sarawak people....whether they still want me as PM or not?" he said, followed by thunderous cheering and one word of "nak" (want) from the crowd.
"I will continue to lead our nation, I will continue to struggle as there are several agendas which have not been met. The most important thing is to make Malaysia a developed country."
Najib said BN wanted a big, convincing win in the next general election, and after securing victory, they should be humble.

"A bit 'eksyen' (conceited), never mind, but not too much and be humble, don't humiliate people, and people will appreciate you.

"We continue to move forward in our struggle, insyaAllah (God willing), BN will succeed in the next general election if we remain united," he added.
