Upholding the judiciary

They accused our judges, the courts and the judiciary of being 'owned' by Putrajaya, that the government, Prime Minister and his ministers can at any time pull string on any decision.

Just because Anwar Ibrahim was sentenced to 5-year behind bars, the Opposition and their stooges, including some NGOs and foreign diplomats concluded that democracy is dead in Malaysia, the judiciary is in tatter and the country would be in chaos.

They only care for one person, a politician whom they worship and hoped to change and lead the government, someone who would allow the free inflow of foreign intervention into our administration and dictate our lives.

I believe its time Malaysians do something to correct their corrupt mind.

PUTRAJAYA - The judiciary will not hesitate to take action against those who tarnish its dignity and integrity, Chief Justice Tun Arifin Zakarin said on Monday.
He said this was because any baseless criticism and allegation against the judiciary could cripple the national justice’s administration system and erode society's trust. "The public should be more careful and responsible in giving their views on social media as its impact would be extensive," Justice Arifin said this in his speech during the elevation ceremony at the Palace of Justice here. Speaking to reporters later, he denied that he walked out from the courtroom after Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's sodomy conviction was upheld last Tuesday."I did not walk out. I adjourned the hearing just to cool off the atmosphere," he said.Justice Arifin told reporters this when he was asked to comment on Anwar's criticism against the judiciary during the Federal Court’s decision of the latter's appeal on Feb 10."My approach is simple, whenever I feel that what is uttered is not fair, I will adjourn the proceedings. That is what I did," he said. When asked whether he had felt offended, Justice Arifin said he did not bear grudges against anyone and that he was sincere in carrying out his duties.Asked whether there would be any committal proceedings against Anwar following his statement on the judiciary during mitigation, Justice Arifin declined to comment.
Arifin is right, and he needs support. The rakyat must realise that our judiciary has no strings attached to its arms. It is free from any influence.

They judges are not anybody's puppet. If they are only for Barisan Nasional, they wouldn't had sent some Umno and BN strongmen to prison (like Khir Toyo) and slapped others, including senior government servants, with heavy penalties for crime their committed.

However, the Opposition condemned the judiciary because of Anwar alone and couldn't care less about others. Anwar is 'God' to them, and its wrong to send such a 'holy' person like him to jail.

I agree with Arifin. Its time to protect the integrity or our judiciary. We must deal with these people. It doesn't matter if some parties do not like it.

But if they can openly insult Islam, smear the image of Raja-Raja Melayu, incite the secession of Sabah/Sarawak and mock at the law, you think they care much about a peaceful and progressive Malaysia?

Nope! They only care him that one man!
