The police were looking for three people believed to be involved in the 'Sabah Sarawak Keluar Malaysia' (SKMM) movement.

The three, according to Sabah Police Commissioner Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman, are also having links to Doris Jones (pic), the author of the SKMM page in Facebook, which was being investigated.

The announcement came amid Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's warning that those involved with the secessionist movement of Sabah and Sarawak will be dealt with severely.
KOTA KINABALU: Police are seeking three individuals identified as being involved in the secession call of the Sabah Sarawak Keluar Malaysia movement (SSKM).Their assistance is being sought to help with investigations.
“We cannot reveal much information as the case is still under investigation,” said Sabah Police Commissioner Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman. “The case of Doris Jones, the author of the SSKM page in Facebook, is still being investigated.”
He was commenting on the status of the UK-based Sabah-born Jones, whose statement police are also seeking.
Jalaluddin confirmed that the three individuals are Malaysians, but may not be from Sabah. He declined to elaborate.
He said police were investigating the case under the Sedition Act.
In Lumut yesterday, Zahid warned a group of people comprising individuals living abroad as well as politicians to give up their attempt to have Sabah and Sarawak secede from Malaysia or face the law.

He said the police were conducting an investigation on these people, all of whom had been identified, and the papers would be sent to the attorney-general to initiate the prosecution.

Ahmad Zahid said some of these people wanted Sabah and Sarawak to come under a sultanate that no longer exists, some wanted the two states to be independent and some wanted them to join another country.
"I ask them to stop what they are doing or face the consequences," he told reporters after opening the Lumut Umno Division delegates meeting here.
Ahmad Zahid, who is an Umno vice-president, said these individuals were playing up the issue and instigating the people of the two states.
He said Sabah and Sarawak were very much a part of Malaysia and the question of neo-colonialism did not arise at all.
"They (the two states) know that their revenue and allocations are small compared to the allocations coming from the federal level," he said.

Also on Saturday, Kudat MP Abdul Rahim Bakri said in Kota Kinabalu that the group attempting to secede Sabah from Malaysia is dangerous and could break Sabah apart.

He said these people could destroy the future of Sabah and its people who had all along enjoyed peace, stability, prosperity and well-being.
"Those who raise the separatist sentiment most probably do not understand history and the complexities of the nation,” added Abdul Rahim.
The Deputy Defence Minister said the government would not hesitate to take legal action against these people to safeguard Malaysia’s integrity and sovereignty.
Abdul Rahim added he believed that this group of people was a minority.
However, he cautioned the problem could become more complex if not acted on by the government.
