Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakub yesterday cancelled his usage of a credit card issued by a foreign bank as a mark of protest against the bank for closing the account of charitable organisations that support the Palestinian struggle recently.

Ismail in his instagram account, @ismailsabri60 uploaded a photograph of himself cutting his credit card (HSBC) together with another photograph of a letter informing that he wished to cancel his account with immediate effect.
"This is a protest against the bank for closing the account of organisations that support the Palestinian people. I always support the struggle of the Palestinians, who are suppressed by Israel," he said in his caption which was uploaded with the photographs.
Ismail Sabri's action has received positive comments from his followers, who generally praised it with the status being shared to several social sites, including Twitter and Facebook. - Bernama
Wow! What a precedent he had set for others. A good move but will others follow suit and how much will it effect the Israel economy?

Just like the calls for a 'no McD Day' on Friday, the boycott planned to show our disgust at Tel Aviv's atrocity in Gaza - will it move the regime to stop killing more Palestinians?

I am for all actions against Israel. However, just take a look at the United Nations and Israel's best friend the US. You trust them?

Bravo Ismail!
