Who 'kencing' who?

The 'much awaited' film' Tanda Putera' by Shuhaimi Baba will go to the big screen in a few days time. Produced about two years ago, it drew protest and criticism from the opposition and the non-Malays who described it as 'inciting racial hatred and very provocative'.

Then came Namewee's latest feature film 'Kara King' which Utusan Malaysia slammed for insulting the Malays and also portraying inter-racial sentiments.

Both films have 'kencing' (urinating) segments - in Tanda Putra, someone depicted as Lim Kit Siang 'showered' a flag post while in Kara King, the main actor is seen 'unintentionally' peeing on a Malay couple'.

I think if both producers take away that 'kencing' parts, the films would be okay, ha ha ha.

But the irony of it, Shuhaimi and Namewee are Finas' favourite producers and directors. Both are awarded with Finas grant to specially finance their movie production. I dont know what was the amount but they got what other producers found it difficult to get.

So, who 'kencing' who here?
A feature film by Namewee, “Kara King”, has drawn the ire of Umno mouthpiece Utusan Malaysia for a scene where the lead character accidentally urinates on a Malay couple.
The newspaper alleged the scene was a blatant attempt by Namewee (pic) to show his disdain for the Malay community.
The scene involves Namewee relieving himself on the side of the street before attempting to turn around in order to bribe a policeman, accidentally urinating on the couple passing by on a motorcycle.
Utusan questioned the message Namewee was attempting to get across in the scene.
The newspaper also poured scorn on the Film Censorship Board for not censoring it, comparing it with the stand taken on the film The New Village.
"The New Village was initially approved by the Film Censorship Board before it backtracked on its decision," the paper said.
"Is it too difficult to read Namewee's agenda to insult Malays in this film? The portrayal of Malays being urinated upon by the Chinese survived and not censored?" Rasdan Ahmad wrote.
"If a Malay film depicted the same, there will be those who will be unhappy and will blow up the issue and cause multiple postponements like what happened to Tanda Putera."
He also took umbrage that the movie mainly has a Chinese cast, with just a handful of Malays and Indians involved.
"This gives the wrong impression of Malaysia's ethnic composition when it is released in several Asian countries.
Actually, we Malaysians got 'kencing' by some politicians who use some film makers to irritate certain quarters for their personal gain, and the producers themselves got Finas to finance their 'good yet controversial' product.

I am not sure if 'The New Village' got Finas grant but the people at the top should know to whom such assistance should be given.

Otherwise, you better 'kencing' yourself!

By the way, is it necessary to insert the 'kencing' segments in such movies?
