Some people have been asking why Prime Minister Najib Razak has yet to sue Sarawak Report for defaming and slandering him.
I think Najib's legal team is working on it but since they are taking too long, it raised doubts. Will he or will he not? However, I believe there are reasons to 'the delay'.

If there is a case, I hope Najib and his lawyers act fast - not only on Sarawak Report but also Wall Street Journal and other respective portals, blogs and 'individuals' deemed as had smeared his and the government's image.
Yesterday, Sarawak Report challenged Najib to take the website to court if he believes the website is reporting untruths.
This comes after the Malaysian Commission of Multimedia and Communication (MCMC) blocks Sarawak Report and another foreign-based news website Asia Sentinel, which is critical of the Najib administration.
Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak also said the government is looking to review the law so it can shut down websites which spread slander against national leaders.
"This is the time for him to resign," it said.

Where is lawyer Hasfarizam? I can't wait to see action taken against Sarawak Report and others. Have he and team members prepared their 'legal package' to sue them? If the boss is too busy, the lawyers must move at his instruction.

"We suggest that, instead of these strong arm tactics against legitimate media coverage, Najib should move to restore his credibility by simply suing Sarawak Report in an independent court of law, in order that the evidence can be scrutinised and witnesses crossed examined.It added that failure to take legal action is tantamount to admission that the allegations the website raised are true.
" If Sarawak Report and other media are "lying", as is being suggested by Najib and his supports, then it would be the simplest thing for them to demonstrate that his reputation has been abused," Sarawak Report said in a statement.
"This is the time for him to resign," it said.
