Malaysia Chronicle stinks

The Malaysia Chronicle carries a Bernama story about the RM50,000 post-rally clean up cost imposed on the Red Shirt.

Their staff did not comment or make any remark about the 'fine' except its heading IF BIGGER THAN BERSIH 4, WHY PAY LESS?

The heading is 'busuk hati' and foolish. It was questioning why Bersih was slapped with a cleaning bill of up to RM65,000 compared to the dubbed-bigger Red Shirt rally.
The organisers of the ‘Himpunan Rakyat Bersatu’ or red shirt rally in Kuala Lumpur on Sept 16 have agreed to pay the post-rally clean-up cost of RM50,000.Federation of National Silat Associations (Pesaka) president Mohd Ali Rustam told Bernama the organisers were aware that they had to foot the bill.Kuala Lumpur mayor Mhd Amin Nordin Abd Aziz said the RM50,000 bill was the sum of the clean-up cost of RM38,000 imposed by waste management corporation Alam Flora and RM12,000 by Kuala Lumpur City Hall.He said the bill was expected to be sent to the rally organisers in a week.Malay NGO Coalition leader Jamal Md Yunos said the organisers would not run away from their responsibility to pay the cost of cleaning up after the rally. The red shirt rally was held at Padang Merbok on Sept 16, and was held to reciprocate the Bersih 4 rally held in the vicinity of Dataran Merdeka on Aug 29 and 30.Early this month, City Hall sent a clean-up bill amounting to RM65,000 to the Bersih 4 organisers. It is scheduled to send a staffing and damage costs bill of RM61,840 at the end of this month. - Bernama
What should we tell Malaysia Chronicle?

Simple - Bersih took about 2 days. Compared to the 12-hour Red Shirt rally, Bersih participants slept on the road and 'eased' themselves anywhere they thought convenience.

Remember what a minister said about the Red Shirt? No stench of urine from the Red Shirt as compared to 'filthy' Bersih 4 but they still called themselves 'bersih'.

Opsss... this is not about race. Its a matter of attitude and awareness.

Actually I smell that same stench from the Malaysia Chronicle, trying to sensationalise the Red Shirt rally.

While throwing support for Bersih 4, they where the ones playing racial game here - questioning why the almost all-Chinese Bersih 4 was made to pay slightly more than the all-Malays Red Shirt rally.

I am against both rallies as it served no purpose. What is so grand about Bersih wanting to oust the government and the Red Shirt trying to show off its Malay supremacy?

The Malaysia Chronicle should employ more brains to its team...
