No. The government did not accuse anybody from the Opposition of trying to overthrow Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak, neither did it single out any names.

Justo did. The guy who is serving a three-year jail sentence in Bangkok disclose this to the media. And since he mentioned all 'names', investigation must be conducted.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said it was standard operating procedure (SOP) to open investigation papers following a report from a local daily on the confessions of former Petro Saudi employee Xavier Andre Justo.

Justo allegedly stated, in his statement of confession, that he was offered money by several people, including Opposition lawmakers, to buy stolen data on 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).
“It’s clear that he said he just wanted to obtain money and nothing else, and it is clear from his statement that there are efforts by those whose names he mentioned.
“Of course, the police got cooperation from Thailand to take further action, especially in opening investigation papers, before the papers are sent to the Attorney-General’s Chambers for prosecution,” he told reporters at a press conference at the Prime Minister’s Department today.
When asked whether such investigations were in the process, Ahmad Zahid, who is also Home Minister, said: “I was not told by the IGP on that, but I believe it is normal SOP to open investigation papers.”

In an exclusive by the New Straits Times, which also based its reports on investigation details into Justo’s case, he revealed that PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar was keen on buying stolen data on 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).

Justo also stated that, however, the Lembah Pantai lawmaker was not considered as the choice potential buyer.

Justo had also allegedly confessed that Sarawak Report’s Claire Rewcastle-Brown had along with DAP lawmaker Tony Pua arranged the sale of the stolen data to The Edge media group owner, Datuk Tong Kooi Ong.

No matter how much Nurul denies it, she and the rest on the list must get good lawyers, right?

And read what Lim Kit Siang said yesterday:
If Malaysia is to move ahead to end the grave crisis of confidence afflicting the country, either Najib Abdul Razak should step down as Prime Minister immediately or he must prove that he and his reshuffled Cabinet can end the drift afflicting the country in the past two months.

Now Lim must realise how bad and skunk his plan is with the rest of his team, fabricating lies in effort to oust the BN government.

Can't wait for the next general election?

And what is his comment to Justo's allegation? I'm not going to believe it just like that but the details from the transcript could be valid!
