Bersih encourages 'kurang ajar'

Remember this slot from P Ramlee's 'Labu Labi'?

Stomping on pictures of the people we hate is 'kurang ajar', let alone spitting on it. If you think others are okay if you stomp on their father's poster, you should let them do the same on your father's poster or picture.

Who taught you that? Your mother? Or father?

It makes you look racist. The Malays had never done that, not to any leader of different race and politic. However, you simply incite racial hatred and sentiment.

This is Malaysia, sis. We must observe each other's sensitivity; race, religion and culture. If we don't respect each other, we won't have a place to hide should a racial riot erupts.

We may avow our dissatisfaction toward our government by taking to the street but what you had done - although gain support from your own people - is arousing anger from others, especially the Malays.

Be reminded that the government, notably the police were so tolerant during Bersih 4.0 although it was declared illegal.

What is your gain by doing so? That you are a hero?

Maybe it's not wrong by the law but you offended many people, especially the Malays and Muslims. Before it explodes into racial issue, why don't you just apologise for the sake of the nation? Let's live together harmoniously.
Police offers monetary rewards to those who can give information leading to the arrest of several Bersih 4 rally-goers who stomped on a poster which has images of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang.Kuala Lumpur Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) chief Zainuddin Ahmad said that the police has given time for the perpetrators to give themselves up but has yet to hear from any individual."The police took this thing seriously as it had create a tense situation that could lead to public disorder."Because of that, the police calls upon any party which has information on the perpetrators to show up and help the police.“Police will offer monetary reward to those who could give information that leads to the capture of the perpetrators," he said in a statement last night.
Several political parties and non-governmental organisations nationwide have lodged police reports urging the authorities to take stern action against the perpetrators.

Utusan Malaysia on Thursday said there were more than 30 reports lodged by various groups, including Umno members in Penang and Pahang, as well as a youth group in Selangor.

Police reports were also made by PAS Selangor members against Bersih 4 rally organisers and participants after photographs emerged showing a few participants allegedly stomping on pictures of Abdul Hadi.

The mammoth rally held in the vicinity of Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur was by and large peaceful, and went on for 34 hours without violence.

The gathering was to call for Najib to step down, as well as for institutional reforms to take place to ensure accountability and transparency in governance.

NOTE:Where are DAP, PKR and their NGOs? Where is Bersih? Do they allow, promote and encourage this?
